Wapiti in the Aspens – $1600

25″ x 19″ 468 Pieces. Inspired by M. Hanson, this piece depicts a wild bull elk (wapiti) hiding in a copse of aspen trees. This piece is highly detailed with many very small, intricate pieces of glass in the elk and the small trees in the foreground. The tans and browns make the elk stand out and is contrasted by the use of mottled green to simulate background foliage. Won First Place of Show, Flagler County Art League, March 2016.
